DUAL MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITY WITH AACP
In recognition of common goals, Ortho and the American Association of Community Psychiatrists have created a special, dual membership opportunity. Dual memberships are available to new members at a 20% discount from the full combined price of a membership in both organizations. If you join now, you would pay only $204 for a dual membership in both Ortho and the AACP. Current AACP members would only pay $84 for an Ortho membership. Benefits of joining Ortho include subscriptions to the American Journal of Orthopsychiatry and the Community Mental Health Journal, as well as access to free CE/CME credit opportunities.
The mission of the AACP is to inspire, empower and equip community psychiatrists to promote and provide quality care and to integrate practice with policies that improve the well being of individuals and communities. You can read more about AACP at http://www.comm.psych.pitt.edu/. The winter issue of the Ortho Bulletin includes an interview with the president of AACP, Dr. Wesley Sowers, who points out that becoming a dual member expands the impact we may have together as justice-minded, mental health professionals. After reading his interview, we hope that you will be inspired to take advantage of this special dual membership offer.
